A Companion Card allows you, as the main cardholder, the facility to share money instantly, anywhere in the world to any family member or friend you have issued a Companion Card to.

Migrant Workers
Have your wages paid directly onto your card, send a companion card to your home country and share your cash in seconds via a simple text message. Why pay money transfer companies when you can send your hard earned cash to loved ones from the comfort of your own home straight to their’s.

Teen card
issue a secondary card to your teen, load it with their 'pocket money' or weekly allowance and they can use their own card to purchase goods online (internet shopping), withdraw cash as they need it from any ATM, or use it to purchase goods from any shop that displays the MasterCard Acceptance Mark. You can therefore assist younger family members to learn about managing their money as they can only spend the amount that is loaded by you onto their card. You are in total control and their spending can be monitored by you in real time, 24/7, either online or remotely by text/sms.

Emergency Money Transfer
Their are often times when you have a need to quickly share cash to a friend or family member. They may have lost their wallet, need cash to get a taxi home or just need additional funds for any reason, but they need it NOW! In an emergency, you could share cash instantly from your GO: Card Primary Card to any Companion Card linked to your account, allowing the Companion Cardholder to withdraw the cash from any ATM or spend the money directly from the card........problem solved!

You can purchase an additional card by logging onto the My Account area of the GO: Card website and selecting 'Order Companion Card'

The Primary Cardholder has complete control over their funds as only they can arrange to share money with other cardholders linked to that account, either by phone, online or SMS. Companion Card costs are displayed on the Tariff Summary page of the GO: Card website, see Terms & Conditions for full details. Companion Cardholders must be 13 years or older.

How to share your money between Card’s with a Text
Share money from your main GO: Card to a companion card anywhere in the world within seconds. If you have not ordered a companion card yet please click here. Okay, so now you want to share money, just text "SHARE" followed by a space and the last 4 digits of your main card number, then another space and the last 4 digits of the companion card number, and finally another space followed by the amount of money you wish to share to 07700 381323 (e.g. SHARE 2380 2381 50.00)

You can also share money between your Cards via your Online Account quickly and securely.
